Alana Dev Priya Židziková

I graduated at French bilingual grammar school in Bratislava, then I studied my Master degree at Faculty of Arts and Letters at Comenius University in Bratislava with specialization in French language and literature / Aesthetics + additional pedagogical studies.
 
During school and afterwards I worked in marketing and advertising.
In 2010 I launched an e-shop www.joga-ajurveda.sk, where I am a managing director.
 
I have liked sport very much since my childhood and I think human body was created to move. Life led me from aerobics, fitness, martial arts and tae-bo to yoga, which completely changed my view of the world. It showed me path in my life leading to finding health, happiness and fulfilment.
 
I completed several yoga trainings with different focus in Slovakia, Czech Republic and India - Power yoga, Hatha yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Sivananda yoga, Tantric yoga for women Mohenjo-daro, Prenatal yoga.
 
On my classes I focus on working with energy, chakras and breathing. My wish is that people leave my classes happy, relaxed and with a pleasant feeling of doing something good for their body and soul.
 
For many years I have been interested in healthy food, alternative medicine, esoteric and spiritual therapies, therefore from yoga it was only a short distance to ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine, which impressed me so much that I eagerly began to study it.
 
Afterwards I felt a strong need to work with my feminine potential and kundalini shakti energy, so I started to study tantra, which opened me a door to endless possibilities.
 
I also do energy healing and massages, especially ayurvedic, tantric and reflexologic. I combine the techniques from different types of massages, I work intuitively and always adapt to the client's needs, their current health status, mood and atmosphere.
 
I like travelling, I am fascinated by Eastern cultures and especially India, where I found answers to many questions and it has become my second home. My Master gave me there a new spiritual name Dev Priya.
 
I like writing and painting, I love sun, nature and animals - that´s why I try to live ecologically and I'm a vegetarian.
My mission in this life is to heal people and help them find their own way.
 
In August 2013 I published my first book - an autobiographical novel POSOLSTVO RIEKY - THE MESSAGE OF THE RIVER.
